Your body should keep up with the life you've built.

We help busy professionals get clear about what their body needs so they can stay consistent in their routine and build strength for what matters most in their life.

You're not falling apart.
Your body just became last on your list.

You've built a full life.

Career, family, responsibilities that matter.

But somewhere in all of it, your body got deprioritized and now it's making itself known.

Sound familiar?

“My body feels older than it should. I'm trying to doing everything I can but pain or stiffness keeps getting in the way.”

"I've seen doctors, done physical therapy, tried everything. I'm putting in the work and am determined to get results... but nothing seems to actually stick.”

"I'm tired of guessing. I just want to know what my body actually needs so I can get strong.”

This isn't a willpower problem.

It's not that you're broken or difficult or too far gone.

It's that no one has ever built a plan around the actual life you're living.

Hi, I’m Dr. Eric Schulte

16k

I'm a husband, a dad, and a business owner. Which means my life looks a lot like yours: full, fast, and not always leaving much room for me.

For years, I dealt with old injuries that kept coming back. And for a long time, I thought I just kept re-injuring myself. So I did what you'd expect; I saw doctors, surgeons, chiropractors, PTs, massage therapists, acupuncturists. I spent thousands of dollars looking for the thing that would finally make it stop. Some things helped temporarily. Nothing stuck.

Here's what I eventually noticed: the pain didn't come back randomly. It came back when life got heaviest. When I was extra busy at work. When my son wasn’t sleeping at night. When my people around me needed more of me than I had to give. When I was skipping workouts, sleeping terribly, and running on high stress mode and hoping I could keep it together.

It turns out the old injuries were just the most visible symptom of a body that wasn't being supported.

Even after becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy, I still didn't have a solution I could actually count on. Because I was still searching for the perfect exercise or the right routine. I thought if I could just find the right program, everything would hold together.

It didn't work that way.

What actually changed things wasn't a new exercise. It was learning to work with my life instead of around it — building habits, managing stress, protecting sleep, and making movement something my lifestyle could actually sustain. When those pieces started connecting, my body stopped breaking down. Not because I found the fix. Because I stopped needing one.

That's what Movement Academy is built on. Not a protocol. A framework for the life you're actually living with all its demands, its seasons, and its beautiful (and at times, exhausting) fullness.

If you're a busy professional trying to hold it all together and still show up strong in your body — Movement Academy was built for you from the ground up because I needed it first. Now I want to share it with you.

Ready to build a body that supports the life you’ve built?

Not a program.

A framework
built around your body.

Most programs give you exercises. We give you a system — and a coach who's actually paying attention.

How do you get started?

No obligation. No pressure. Just a clear path forward — starting with a real conversation.

STEP 1

Tell me your story.

A free, no-pressure call with Dr. Eric. Share what you've been dealing with, what you've tried, and where you're hoping to go. Dr. Eric will listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and help you determine whether this approach is the right fit, without any obligation to continue.

STEP 2

We find your starting point.

A hands-on, in-depth evaluation at our clinic in Kearny Mesa. We start with your mind-body connection, then find areas that are strong and identify areas that need to become stronger. You'll leave with a clarity on where you’re starting point is: whether that's rebuilding confidence, recovering from injury, or getting back to the activities you love.

STEP 3

We build a plan and support you through the journey.

Working 1-on-1 with Dr. Eric through a hybrid coaching model. Your program will consist of in-person and in app support. In-person sessions are 1 hour in the clinic onTuesdays & Thursdays and focus on assessments, treatments, and optimizing your exercise program. You make the life changing transformations through the Movement Academy app built for you with custom workouts, technique checks, and direct messaging with Dr. Eric.

  • I had been in pain and discomfort for about 2 years. Unable to do most activities beyond walking, but it had finally morphed my body into a twisted state and my life was becoming unmanageable. Dr. Schulte was recommended to me by a friend and I couldn’t be happier. Within a few weeks, I was able to begin to feel normal and rejuvenated. Highly recommend! He is very thorough and really explains what is going on and provides specific video instructions to follow.

  • I had been experiencing a sharp pain in my right knee. I was rushing around and remembered taking a larger than usual step, which created a pulling sensation in my groin. The next thing I noticed was a stabbing pain in my knee at random times, but usually while trying to sleep. I explained all of this to Dr. Schulte, and he immediately zeroed in on the issue. He gave me some stretching exercises and recommended using heat and a topical medication for the pain. Everything he recommended worked wonders and I can sleep again, uninterrupted with that painful knee pain. Dr. Schulte not only solved my pain issue—he did it with a caring and patient bedside manner. If I could give him 10 ⭐s I would. I highly recommend Dr. Schulte.

  • I had been dealing with chronic shoulder pain stemming from my shoulder blade for quite some time. I had seen a couple of other physical therapists in the past, but unfortunately, none were able to pinpoint the root cause of the issue. Without a clear diagnosis or explanation, the treatments these other PTs offered did not show much improvement. That changed when I was recommended to Dr. Eric. I figured it was worth getting a third opinion—and I’m so glad I did. From the very first session, Dr. Eric took a thoughtful and detailed approach. He clearly explained what was going on with my shoulder, how the pain was originating, and laid out a step-by-step plan for recovery. It was the first time I felt like someone truly understood the issue and had a concrete strategy to address it. I was dealing with winged scapular. He spent over an hour with me during our initial appointment, showed the muscles involved with this issue and the treatment for them. He followed up with a text a few days later to check in—which really showed me his commitment to his patients. Now, about a month and a half later, I’m seeing real progress. My shoulder is getting stronger, the pain has significantly reduced, and I finally feel like I’m on the right path to full recovery. Dr. Eric’s approach is not only informative and thorough, but also compassionate. It’s clear that he takes a genuine personal interest in helping his patients heal. I’m incredibly grateful to have found him—thank you, Dr. Eric!

  • I’ve had many physical therapists over the past 20 years, but no one as good as Eric. He listens to my concerns and addresses them. He has a hands-on approach which I really enjoy. I couldn’t be more pleased to have Eric. As my physical therapist, he is the best.

  • I recently had my very first session with Dr. Eric. For starters, I have seen a few physicians for my knee pain and somehow still had no answers. Dr. Eric gave me his undivided attention for over an hour. He listened to every detail and asked specific questions to get to the root of my issue. After our discussion and his examination of my body, I finally received an explanation and plan of care. I have never encountered a healthcare professional who is so passionate about his work—he truly wants to help. I am super excited to work with Dr. Eric further and take this important step for my health.
